About Me

I am the music teacher at Allen! In 2015, I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Music Education (concentration in trumpet with a piano minor). In December of 2021, I will graduate with my Masters in Music Education from Kent State!

I love performing; whether it’s playing guitar and singing in my Dad's cover band or playing trumpet for special events Additionally, marching band had been a big part of life since I was in 8th grade- I served as the Band Director of the Shawnee Marching Band until 2020. Aside from music, I enjoy fitness- lifting, running and healthy eating.

I have been blessed to have music part of my life since I began piano lessons at five years old. I am not exaggerating when I say it has shaped me into the person I am today. I began by loving to play instruments, but I gained a much deeper appreciation for music as a teenager when I began teaching private lessons and saw how it impacted kids. By 7th grade, there was no question what I wanted my career to be, and I have been preparing to teach music ever since.
